Bathtub Gardens
Bathtub Gardens grows specialty cut flowers and foliage on a small acreage in the Pemberton Valley. Nested in the heart of the coastal mountains we practice farming with our environment in mind using organic menthods of growing. Our flowers are sold through our farm's CSA, to designers, retail stores and various farmers markets. We also offer design and styling services for Whistler restaurants and for weddings and special events.
Sam got tricked into organic farming by the obvious match in seasonal flow with his skiing habit. Of course, he discovered a true passion and fascination in flower farming. On the farm, he is mostly in charge of old bicycle maintenance and has real skills at washing buckets.
Calida is the green thumb of this operation. She is fascinated with the natural world and has the passion and dedication to grow the prettiest flowers imaginable. She also has that artistic eye that makes our weed infested farm produce those heart stopping arrangements.
She is very talented at threatening to mow down the crops just enough to scare those plants into flowering and will not hesitate to cut anything in her sight to complete one of her creations.
